Here’s a look at a few reading events (online) coming up for the month of April.
April ReadaThons & Challenges
☆ #1937Club – Apr. 15-21, 2024. Join the hosts at Stuck in a Book and Kaggsy’s Bookish Ramblings in reading and reviewing books from 1937. Any language, format, genre.
★ Spring into Horror ReadaThon – A month long readathon that starts on April 1st and ends at 11:59 PM on April 30th. The only requirement … read at least one scary book – horror, paranormal, thriller, mystery, etc. There will also be one 24-Hour readathon during each month-long event. The Spring into Horror 24-Hour event will be on Saturday, April 27th at 10:00 am EDT.
☆ Magical Readathon: Orilium Spring Equinox 2024 (YouTube) is quite an involved month long readathon, but I love the fantasy and immersion of it all.
★ Dewey’s Readthon is in April on the 13th – 8AM EST to Apr. 14th 8AM EST
☆ #AlltheBooksApr24 – share a photo for each daily prompt using the monthly hashtag. Check the hashtag to see all of the photos that have been shared for the challenge. Fee free to post and interact as little or as much as you’d like.
☆ #MyFandomObsessionsApr24 – daily suggestion theme is from the Serenity tv show!
